Comprehensive Benefit Package:
As an ANS employee, you elect which plans are right for you and your family. We offer very competitively priced medical and dental care as well as other important insurance products like Long Term Care, Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance, and Legal Insurance programs. Some benefits, such as Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, and Long Term Disability (LTD), are paid in full by the company on your behalf. Paid Time Off
All employees receive paid time off for vacations, illness, and personal business, in addition to Company-paid holidays. ANS also provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and military commitments. |

You can invest up to 50 percent of your pre-tax income (up to a maximum of $15,500 in 2007) in a variety of mutual funds, bond funds, and even a self directed account through the St. Jude Medical Inc. 401(K) profit sharing and employee savings plan. St. Jude Medical will also provide a 100% matching contribution on the first 3% of compensation that you contribute to the plan. In addition, St. Jude Medical, Inc. may make an additional profit sharing contribution to your account in the first quarter following the end of each plan year based on eligibility requirements. |

Through a payroll deduction program, the ESPP provides employees an opportunity to purchase St. Jude Medical, Inc. stock at a cost that is 15% lower than the market price on either the first day of the offering period or the last day of the offering period, whichever is lower. |
