ANS IPG Systems

ANS offers a variety of primary cell and rechargeable implantable pulse generator (IPG) systems to meet both physician and patient needs. Primary Cell IPG systems are generally best suited for patients with simple unilateral and single extremity pain, since these pain patterns require less power for pain relief than do complex pain patterns. Rechargeable IPG systems are generally best suited for patients with high power requirements, for example, patients with complex, multi-focal pain.

IPG systems consist of an implantable pulse generator and a patient programmer, plus percutaneous leads or Lamitrode® paddle leads. A variety of accessories are also available to enhance the functionality of the systems, including lead extensions and the Rapid Programmer® programming platform.

ANS IPG systems key features and benefits

  • Connection systems make extension use optional
  • Single setscrew reduces connection time
  • Convenient suture holes make it easy to secure the generator in the pocket
  • One-pass tunneling designed for low trauma
