Rechargeable IPG Systems

ANS rechargeable IPGs are available generally in 8- and 16-contact configurations. They are appropriate for patients with high power requirements who are willing and able to follow a routine recharge protocol.

These devices use an innovative charging system that improves the efficiency and safety of energy transfer. They also employ constant current technology, enabling them to deliver consistent and reliable stimulation.

Eon® Neurostimulation Systems IPG

The Eon Neurostimulation System with NeuroDynamix™ technology  offers a broad range of options to maximize the opportunity for successful pain management. Along with an extensive array of configuration, programming, and IPG placement options, the Eon system provides long-lasting battery life, fast and safe recharging, and extended time between recharges.

The breakthrough NeuroDynamix™ technology in our enhanced Eon IPG combines a propriety new microchip with advanced software to help you maximize pain coverage and sustain therapy. Together with the Dynamic MultiStim™ and Active Balancing™, features built into Rapid Programmer® , this powerful Dynamic Duo delivers unparalleled precision, coverage, and streamlined control for today’s challenging pain profiles, and tomorrow’s changing needs.

The Eon rechargeable IPG is compatible with the full line of ANS neurostimulation leads—the most extensive array of leads available. And like the other ANS systems, the Eon neurostimulation System offers both MultiStim® and PC-Stim® (patient-controlled stimulation) capabilities, giving you and your patients extensive control of the stimulation therapy and the widest range of options to accommodate individual pain patterns.

Key features include

  • 16-contact rechargeable IPG system
  • Highest battery capacity
  • Compatible with the most extensive array of leads
  • Widest deliverable parametric outputs1-4
  • Safe and comfortable recharging
  • Constant current delivery

Greater implant depth provides flexibility

As a result of our radio-frequency experience, ANS is the world leader in transcutaneous energy transfer. We’ve used this expertise to design a system that can be implanted deeper without compromising recharge efficiency. This provides more flexibility in device placement and minimizes the potential for tissue erosion. The Eon rechargeable IPG can be implanted up to 2.5 cm deep, improving patient comfort and cosmesis.

High-capacity battery and efficient circuitry enhance device life

The Eon rechargeable IPG features a high capacity battery that will last at least 10 years at high power stimulation outputs.* If lower parameters are used, a significantly longer device life is possible.

Quick and easy to implant

  • Ergonomic shape facilitates ease of implantation
  • Integrated strain relief requires no suturing, reducing OR time
  • Single setscrew reduces connection time
  • Dual suture holes decrease potential for IPG movement
  • Diagnostic circuit quickly measures impedance
  • Extension use optional

Charging is easy on your patients

  • External coil makes the charging process fast and efficient
  • Built-in safety circuit prohibits the device from unsafe temperatures
  • Lightweight, flexible charging antenna conforms to all implant locations for greater comfort
