Renew Radio-Frequency Systems

Designed to sustain therapy over long periods at the highest output levels, Renew radio-frequency systems are ideal for the most challenging cases—those with very high power requirements and complex, multi-extremity pain.

Renew® system key features

  • Powerful 8- or 16-contact systems
  • Compatible with the complete line of ANS percutaneous and paddle leads
  • Broad range of power outputs
  • Frequency ranges up to 1500 Hz
  • Advanced programming options
  • Small, low-profile design

The Renew system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, plus percutaneous leads or Lamitrode® paddle leads. A variety of accessories are also available to enhance the functionality of the system, including lead extensions and the Rapid Programmer® programming platform.

Renew® Receiver

Renew receivers are capable of powering up to 16 electrodes on one-, two-, three-, or four-lead arrays. This capability significantly improves targeting options and allows the use of a variety of lead configurations to customize therapy for individual patient needs.

Renew receiver key features and benefits

  • Cost-effective RF-SCS technology activates the multiple electrode combinations necessary to treat complex pain patterns—without concern of battery depletion
  • Small, low-profile design improves patient comfort
  • Modular design accommodates one- to four-lead arrays, enabling the use of multiple lead systems for multifocal pain patterns
  • Single setscrew lead connection reduces implantation time

Renew Transmitter

The Renew transmitter features advanced radio-frequency (RF) technology, which allows activation of up to 16 electrodes and multiple programs to treat even the most complex pain patterns—without the concern of battery depletion. A key advantage of this system is its multi-programmability, which allows stimulation to be delivered in three modes—MultiStim®, PC-Stim®, and Continuous. The result is expanded versatility to treat a broad range of complex pain patterns and true customization to provide better pain management for patients with diffuse, multifocal pain patterns.

The Renew transmitter also features a special high-capacity rechargeable battery. This special battery increases the transmitter’s operating time between charges and improves patient convenience. The transmitter is easy-to-use, compact, and lightweight, which helps enhance acceptance, compliance, and satisfaction with the prescribed therapy.
